Property taxation is a immoral stain on the country. Taxation, by it’s nature, must be uniform. Only property owners sustaining the government schools is totally unconstitutional. This method of funding public education has become an obvious vehicle for the leftist, government schools to control their spread of communist propaganda which has ruined American’s schools.Furthermore, the teacher’s unions actually control the funding of this communist propaganda which continually raise property taxes with no proper controls. If you do not pay, they will steal your property !! I know because I served on a Pennsylvania Assessment Board for ten years and I saw the horrific damage this system does to homeowners.
What?? “Only property owners sustaining the gov schools is totally unconstitutional” ALL property owners sustain the gov, incl schools. If you do not OWN property, you are still contributing to the tax bill by paying owners as part of your payment. Renting, etc, does not delete paying someone for the property tax.
We should never have become involved in Ukraine. The war isn’t our fight and has nothing to do with us. This senseless war is depleting our military stockpile and helping to bankrupt America. We should cut all weapons and money off. Let Europe fund the war if they wish. Climate change is a hoax. President Trump is correct to boost our domestic oil and gas industry. Bob, I agree with you. School taxes go up every year without fail. As a senior citizen, why should I pay school taxes when I have no kids going to school? Yep, if you don’t pay, they will evict you from your own home.
Why should I pay for senior centers, libraries, parks, etc if I don’t use them??? I agree that it would be nice to NOT tax seniors BUT most municipalities “need” that money so they tax. btw, the county I live in does not tax those over 65 for the school tax IF there is no one living in the residence in schools. great benefit while it lasts.

I am a home owner and pay state and federal income tax, occupation tax, property tax, county tax, borough tax, and sales tax for just about everything we buy. I live in a middle class neighborhood and drive a 12 year old car. You have to wonder where all that money is going?
RFK, Jr is ruffling some feathers and we will find out the truth about what is causing cancer, autism, and other ailments someday. I always thought it was all the chemicals they put in the water, but they also put a lot of chemicals in processed foods. There should be a study on how many women gave birth with spinal anesthesia that I think could be linked to autism.
RFK Jr is doing a good job. Yes, he’s ruffling some feathers, but some feathers needed to be ruffled. Otherwise, the CDC will steamroll over all of us. Just look back at the recent Covid hysteria.
Keeping the taxes on property on the original loan would be good but city might do something like intimate domain to take the land and build an apartment to get more taxes so the bill needs to have this type of protect.
In other words, they’ll build drab, Soviet-style concrete tenements.
