I retired earlier than normal, because I had to train DEI hires to become certified operators. Because they had no idea what they needed to do for their job. And really showed no gumption of learning the job. I wanted no part of the training, because the company thought we would do it as part of our requirements for our job. So I retired.
Most jobs do include having to train others, especially if you’ve risen to a supervisory position. Why are a lot of white men such woosies about having to do that?
