Adam, I’m Eddie. My house and all I had was destroyed by the Bobcat fire back in 2020. I also lost my beloved dog to the fire. The only structure standing was the barn. I have applied for a permit from the LA County two months after the disaster and I still don’t have the permit. 5 plus years and I am still waiting to rebuild. I have been living out of my barn with my 3 large dogs for 5 plus years and no one seems to even care. I even sent them a video of my living conditions and begged them to expedite the process but no one even replied to me and my concerns. At this point, even if they issue the permit, I won’t be able to re-build because I have run out of the insurance money 3 years ago and the amount that’s they still hold cannot be returned until I show them some re-building process. The bureaucracy and corruption are rampant in the California government and I feel helpless, discouraged and disappointed. I hope you can help me address this disgraceful situation and expose the people who seem to deliberately hurting people who already have a great deal of trauma and burden on their lives. Thank you.

It’s sad that this has come to this, and in Los Angeles its been 6 months since the fires destroyed whole neighborhoods and this man has waited for over 5 years to rebuild his home and is desperate and running out of insurance money and what do the liberals running the place do: sit on their asses and flip this guy and the fire victims the middle finger. This is a prime example of the liberals and their don’t give a CRAP attitude about anybody but themselves. These so called leaders ( I cringe to call these slugs leaders who couldn’t lead a scout troop out of the deep woods even with a compass and GPS other than run the place into the ground) are criminally negligent and should all be imprisoned for this. Hopefully the people that have lost their homes and property keep this in mind the next time election comes around and vote smarter and that means, gulp, electing some qualified Republicans into office for the balance of power, santity and fiscal prudence so sorely neded here. You fools have endured the liberals for years, time to wake up and pay attention: they don’t give a rats ass about you and heve proved it over and over and the sooner you figure this out the better your lives will be. What more evidence do you need? But in reality many of these clueless fools that have lost everything and are waiting for assistance will listen to the pandering BULLS**T spewed by these liberals (who’ve proved time and again their incompetence ineptitude and mismanagement) pretending to give a rats ass about the residents all while these worthless and good for nothing idiots laugh all the way to the bank for another term in which nothing will change, they’ll get richer all while sitting on their asses and the people will end up getting the shaft for another 4 years and reelect them or some other liberals and the BS will go on unabated. Either the residents of California the one time golden state now only golden in the PISS and CRAP stinking up many streets and sidewalks in San Francisco that some neighborhoods are biohazards are slow learners or brain dead and clueless. And the BS keeps going on and on like the Energizer Bunny. Actually, progress is being made. The original plan was to make room for low-income housing and a fire would be the quick way to demolish the homes already there and Karen’s Ass and Newshit will make millions from the “investment.” Newshit just has to be sure he kicks some money up to “the big bitch,” ugly old drunk stupid hag Pelosi. That fire was planned before it even started.
