There is only ONE way to allow immigration, and that is to amend the Immigration act to LIMIT the rights of those being naturalized.
1. No naturalized citizen should be allowed to vote;
2. NO naturalized citizen should be allowed to hold an office of authority in government, position of influence, or judicial system;
3. Naturalized citizenship should be revoked for criminal activity;
4. No access to any government “entitlement” programs (WIC, EBT, welfare, loans, grants, etc.), other than those you pay into and only after the first ten years;
5. must be able to speak English within 5 years;
6. must show adequate knowledge and UNDERSTANDING of the Constitution and our basic laws; …
Naturalization is a PRIVILEGE, not a right!
I would think that foreigners must be able to demonstrate an ability to speak and comprehend basic English in order to be considered for naturalized citizenship.
