Mamdami should have a nominal fare, to keep the homeless and teens from taking over the buses. His other ideas seem to be good ones, but they’re opposed by the oligarchs and the Filthy Rich, who want to hoard money, and not share it with others, and are willing to look down on those who were not as fortunate, and keep those folks from even having a chance to get ahead.
Under his regime the Filthy Rich will be the only ones who could afford to live there. 30 dollars minimum wage if that’s the case it will cost 50 dollars for a Big Mac.

Interesting, the same things being said today about Mamdani, were said about Bill Clinton in 1972. Newton Gingrich said that Clinton’s narrowly passed bill raising taxes on the wealthy & corporations would destroy the economy.
