In Texas, the 5th circuit court determined the redraw was necessary, but didn’t do it immediately since the court didn’t set a deadline for it to be done. Joe Biden sued Texas over it. When Trump was elected, Leavitt dropped the lawsuit, and Texas did the redraw, per the 5th CC ruling. The dem’s always leave these pieces out of the story.
Stop all this gerrymeandering and keep constitution sound.

It is being struck down already. But a nuclear option exists. What is now Arlington County and the city of Alexandria — remained part of the District of Columbia until 1847, when Congress returned it to Virginia. The reason? To protect slavery. The District had abolished it, and Virginia slaveholders didn’t want to give up their slaves. Democrats love to talk about the legacy of slavery to justify tearing down statues, renaming buildings, etc. — to be consistent, they should give that piece of land back to the District. How in the world could Democrats argue that slavery-motivated retrocession is not unconstitutional? It would be a real check mate.
Trump and team need to get on this right away.
