What a waste for the US taxpayer. What do we get for this disaster? More federal debt. Interest on the debt is now about a trillion a year that goes to wealthy bond holders including (yes, this is is true) the CHINESE government! This is what our Congress has done to us since Reagan.
Add in the Bush and Trmp tax cuts to the billionaires and rich corps and you have a federal debt of over $40 trillion! Plus Trmp is spending again like he usually does and add the grift from his family. Trmp alone is responsible for over a quarter of this deficit. He used to claim that he would pay the debt down but of course, those are the words of a proven pathological liar and grifter.
I wonder how much oil was in those three ships and who will clean up the mess. Potentially the whole gulf could go up in flames. One WilliePete could light the whole area up. Poor fish and bottom dwellers for the next 10 years
