He has managed that, along with not having even the slightest clue of the logistics of the conduct of a major war. Iran as a nation is the size of Europe with over 90 million inhabitants and a 1 million man army ready to fight for his own home town after an enemy bombed and killed a lot of little girls. I remember how pissed off at Japan we were after Pearl Harbor. We also pulled of a sneak attack killing the Iranian Religious Leader; WOW! On D-Day, June 6, 1944 we had over 10,000 men killed that day. And, the Russians had the Germans almost on the ropes already. Add to that, our troops are not particularly keen on dying for Israel. (Though they would fight like hell to stay alive if possible.)

I do think that Trump was ‘suckered’ by Israel into doing the heavy lifting in the fight with Iran, but it was going to happen eventually. The Russians and ChiComs have completely taken over the targeting aspect of the drone and missile strikes launched from Iran so their personnel on the ground should be targeted as enemy combatants.
