You are so right and even more important he has an amazing plan for the homeless, drug addicted and jobless in NYC. He offered up this plan the last time he ran and sadly he lost. Close down rikers island, ship the prisoners upstate, build housing, job training center and rehab for addicts and get them off the streets. Also, is Mandami proposing workers’ control of the New York State-based transit agencies (subways, Metro North Commuter Railroad, Long Island Rail Road, and the NYC buses)? You can’t prevent people from doing stupid things. Smoking is stupid. Marijuana is stupid. If New Yorkers elect Zohran Mamdani or Andy Cuomo, then that’s who they want. They will find out later, after 4 years, just like they found out about idiot Adams. Adams did a few good things, but the dumb and stupid things far outnumber the good. A little history lesson for New York. A country that was a democracy voted in a socialist and many of his politicians into the parliament in 1933. That party was the National Socialist German Workers Party. That country ended up with 12 years of pure hell.
