When my parents legally migrated to America during the 1900s as teens, there was no government subsistence and you had to pay your way; no food, no housing, no healthcare. Today they come here knowing we will pay and finance their needs. This edict by Trump restores this and removes the burdens using our tax dollars meant only for our citizens that provided the tax dollars for other citizens. It is true, you cannot come here and be the ward of the state. Relatives that came here were the responsibility of the sponsor.
