We need a bill that would stop the pay of every representative and senator if there is a government shutdown. That bill should also stipulate that members of congress would not receive any payments after the shutdown ends like everyone else.

Love to see it but the wealthy fraudsters just send someone to Mar-a-Lago to buy a pardon from the Trmp family. Plus, they also do not have to pay back the money they stole. One guy used the tax money he embezzled to buy a two million dollar sailboat which he got to keep after he bought his pardon.
The latest is Jo Schwartz who defrauded the government for $38 million, which he now gets to keep. Paul Walsczak kept employee taxes, bought a pardon and spends his days on his taxpayer sailboat. There are many more but I realize that the people who post here are incapable of making basic searches since it is easier to just deny reality.
