There is still the Jessie Ventura Syndrome to worry about. He was elected governor of Minnesota by a nonpartisan coalition of libertarians, nullification fans, anarchists, and those who just wanted to have fun. (Ventura actually did a much better job than his successors.) Sadly, the Antifa candidate in Maine could do actual harm in the Senate; one hopes that the Collins voters of the blue dog sort stand tall.

NY state is mostly red. 47 of the 62 counties voted for Trump. It is NYC, Westchester, Albany and Buffalo that cause all of the problems with their imbecilic voters there. We have seen NY’s electoral votes go from 41 to 28 since 1976. And its the sensible liberty minded people that have left and continue to leave.
Sooner or later it must change back for the better.

Morrie, I agree. There are Republicans in NY State, there are red counties in NY State, but our votes don’t seem to matter. NYC, Westchester, Albany and Buffalo rule the roost. NY State will lose a few more electoral votes in the next census.
