Not you, not me, not the the health and economic growth of the average working American. Just look at how he recently screwed our farmers with his Tarrifs and 200 billion dollar deal with Argentina. You weren’t around when Reagan was president. Reagan DID use tariffs. When Harley Davidson was on the verge of total collapse, thanks to the mismanagement of AMF, Willie Davidson and Vaughn Beals mange to get the company back from AMF, but they needed time to rebuild the company and they requested Reagan put a tariff on imported motorcycles, which Reagan did. After a few years, Harley Davidson bounced back and the tariffs were removed. Whether you like Harley Davidson, or any motorcycles for that matter, this is an example where Reagan used tariffs to save an AMERICAN company. Trump is doing the same thing for AMERICAN companies and trying to prevent American companies from shipping American jobs to other countries, which the current CEO of John Deere is doing. And since it’s clear you’re a dummycrat, FDR used tariffs to save the American economy during the Depression. Get your head out of your ass and do some REAL research, idiot.

As for the price of beef, it’s not because of tariffs – it’s supply and demand. Obviously, you have no concept of free market. If beef is coming from Argentina, it’s because our farmers aren’t raising enough cattle to supply the country. That began under Brandon who did noting to aid our farmers and ranchers. It takes time for cattle to be bred, born, raised/fed, then brought to market. The entire process doesn’t happen in nine months – the length of time PRESIDENT Trump has been in office. “The gestation period for a cow typically lasts about 283 days, which is roughly nine months.” Then there’s raising the animal, etc.. This country was broke with increasing Deficits and the numbers of people having to rely on social programs. We definitely needed a reset on the way we did international business. We were running deficits with almost every country with which we did business. Tarrifs were very appropriate. Look at the result. Trillions of dollars of investments coming into America. Billions of dollars coming into the treasury. Trade deals formed with all of our major trading partners except one. Canada, who stupidly figured their American liberal cohorts would bail them out, rather than negotiate a trade deal that would correct the one sided advantage they had enjoyed for decades. The line was crossed when they took a 75 million dollar ad in the US right before a Supreme Court vote on tarrifs. This is blatant interference in American government.
