I see Dan Bongino left the FBI and returned to his residence. He is still one of the most admired men in Government. I have admired and followed him most of his career. Surely, he will be a lot happier than trying to clean up the swamp in Washington. Hated to see you leave and will be watching for a podcast.
Dan didn’t stand a chance in hell to make a difference or change anything in the FBI. There was plenty of resistance from both parties and the media to make him look as bad as possible. There are all kinds of snakes in D.C.
Dan B is a guy you certainly want if you’re attempting to change something for the GOOD. The issue is that there are not many like Dan in DC & DC does NOT want change. I believe he made an impact but also realized that the any attempt to institute a true “attitude change” in the Bureau must be from top to bottom & could take yrs. Sad he’s leaving & wish him the best.
Dan is one of the most honest man I’ve ever heard. I have been following him for a long time!! He just couldn’t stand to be around all those hypocrites!!’ Good luck Dan, looking forward to hearing your podcast again!!!
Bongino may be an honest person, one who in his media career was interesting for his opinions, not nuts and bolts facts. He was enjoyable to listen to. But as assistant FBI Director he was way over his head, as is Kash Patel. He figured that out quickly and got the hell out of there. Don’t blame him one bit!

Doris – I agree. I think that he might have been too honest for the job, and also didn’t need all the aggravation!
