Let’s cut all the bullshit here and be honest. Politics has NEVER attracted the most morally and ethically upstanding people, REGARDLESS of party affiliation. Only a clueless a-hole would sit here and argue over the corruption of one party while completely ignoring the same corruption of the other. And one party sure as hell didn’t “learn” it from the other – it’s something that’s inherent in ALL career politicians. This is the best argument for both term limits AND limited government in general – something that our founding fathers were well aware of. If we continue to embrace politics as our new religion and give such an absurd amount of power to political parties as we are currently doing, we deserve the total shit show were living in.
