I did the down markers for my sons games all through his career while filming him. My son now plays NCAA D1 Football on a fully paid scholarship. Best seat in the house. You’re supposed to drop the stick if play comes close but I was filming too so broke a few poles. Great memories
Years ago when my wife’s nephews were playing football I volunteered for the chain gang. I remember one particular time a young teen was working the other end and he intentionally kept trying to pull the chain a foot or so in order to aid the other team. I told him to quit and he would for a few minutes and then he would try again. The side judge finally saw him and kicked his ass off the field.
