I for one want Matt to do an entire video on the psychosocial significance of using the expression “body count” to mean “sexual conquests.” I find it absolutely abhorrent and I completely fail to understand how young people can casually toss the term around like so many morning-after condom wrappers. Disgusting.
I was promiscuous. I didn’t know how to say no & wanted to feel wanted. I was disgusted with myself then, and am even more so now. I’m absolutely ashamed. I want my daughters to be different. I want them to feel loved at home so they don’t seek it with men.
We need to bring back shame. Shame for premarital sex, drug abuse, and literally everything else. Shame is what kept it in check.
