I watched this gentleman on the congressional hearings, downright terrifying. He’s a hero in my book to come forth & tell us truths!
If I were a con man, I would probably say things the way he talks about them. As far as the weapons development is concerned. There is no good reason to think any generalized laws, policies or judgements would prevent such research. The part about the US flying around or using alien aircraft / systems has always been slight of hand. If it is true, nobody needs to know because of the crazy imaginations of the public. At least as long as the tech is being studied and applied, to our advantage.
The the US public’s past experiences around this idea should inform our conclusions and our thinking. There may be some kernel of truth somewhere within the official explanations. Those guys can disguise the truth so we will believe a lie. They can also disguise a lie to seem like truth. Practically every new way of doing everything can be traced to previous lessons or examples along the road of knowledge and invention. What human could survive the high accelerations and right angled flights that UFOs/ UAPs use in many sightings. Nobody.
Final point, If this guy betrayed an oath to the US, he would be locked up somewhere.
