I personally feel that any athlete who comes from America and does not politically represent America, should automatically be removed from the Olympics. These Olympians should automatically be financially charged. These screwed up athletes should individually pay back all of the money America has given them to support them, while training and attending the Olympics! These Woke athletes should never be allowed to collect any and all advertising or representatives funding from any American ran Organization.
I agree.
Perhaps she should go home with the Chinese team so she can receive adequate training over the next four years. I’m sure those athletes live luxury lives.
This is the epitome of liberal hypocrisy. She earns $23 million from our capitalistic country. $14 million from a communist Chinese government and she claims the US was mean to her because they wouldnt rearrange the training schedule the accommodate her. If she wants to represent a communist country that has murdered millions of their own citizens, thats her choice, but then dont ask the US for training facilities and dont use our system to make millions. But she is either a master con-artist, a hateful communist or a stupid little liberal puppet. Whichever she chooses, she is a pathetic human being.
What is worse, An Chinese-American athlete born in the US who decides to compete for China or an American athlete who competes for America but sort of bad mouths America politically?
I would add one fact about Eileen Gu the Chinese American who was reportedly paid up to $14 Million US dollars to represent China. Now for American athletes of every sport but especially Basketball, Baseball and Golf, money talks louder than anything else for which team the player will sign up with. He may be born in NYC growing up watching the Yankees but when California waves a juicy contract for him, he signs with the California team. Money is the bottom as well as the top line for conservatively 95% of athletes. So if the $14 Million up front that Gu receives so evil when players are signing multi-year $100 Million and up contracts in the US? And believe me most of us fans find those players generally never seem to be worth it anyway. Exception would be the Japanese players who signed ( at the time) an amazing contract but did not only produce but did so as both a batter and a pitcher.
Until the rule specifically says that an Olympian must participate in the nation of his or her birth, there is no rule that prevents Gu from representing China and the money is THE true red , white and blue base line for signing a sports contract. Cuban, Dominican and Venezuelan players do not sign with their native countries, They sign with US MLB teams. German, Swedish and Russian Hockey players may sign with their native countries but they leave them to sign with NHL clubs after achieving stardom. And so on and so forth.
It’s very hard for me accept or understand why this Gu decided to represent a country of her father’s birth? She was raised in the US and I’m just wondering what other connection she had to china?Wad she making a political statement? I’d want an answer! If the US spent any tax payer money on her training, she should be forced to repay that money. She probably has enough to repay.
Bring back colonial justice. Hold a 3 mile run in Mamdani’s honor. Tar and feather him and run him through downtown for all to see.
Nah, just have the 5 mafia families put the towel headed communist POS in cement boots and throw him into the ocean.

I’d rather they send her to North Korea forever.
