Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is a standalone contradiction. It’s flat out prejudice and discrimination. Prejudice because you automatically assume a black, latino, or non-white person needs special treatment to succeed, and therefore, you hire them purely on their cultural background, and not their experience, intelligence, or qualification. It’s discrimination because you exclude people who are qualified because they meet the “diversity” requirement, aka, they are white, straight, male, or all three. Just look at any company that has recently done mass layoffs, you’ll see the first thing to go is ALWAYS DEI, because it inherently brings no value.
