I live in Alaska. We carry. I was at a 24 hour gas station. There was a young lady working one night. I was a reg ,the coffee was good. I asked her if it bothered her that I was armed. She gave me the coffee for free and said she liked having her armed regulars around. Made her feel safe. Then she pulled up her shirt to show me her side arm and smiled.
I was a Commiefornia Cop for 27 years ( Educational PD & Municipal PD). Educators should not be allowed to control a police department (I have some interesting accounts with political hacks and educators). Enforcing gun laws against law abiding citizens is Not Constitutional, and a waste of time. I was a constitutional cop. I did not enforce laws because the legislature passed a statute. I never had a problems with armed citizens…I only had problems with career criminals.
