I’m only getting about 12 hours a week at my current part-time job, despite people constantly leaving due to low hours. All the while, I’m sending out applications but am constantly being told I’m not what they’re looking for.
I originally thought it had to be something I’m doing but everyone I talk to at work is having the same issue. Doesn’t matter their age or if they’re a guy/girl none can find another job despite so many place “desperately” needing people.
I work in Tech. Was part of mass Big 4 layoff in Jan. Nobody can find jobs and competition is crazy. It feels like a recession for a lot of us.
