My mum was 12 when she and her family came here from Cuba. My family wanted a better life but chose to do so legally. They waited years, lost everything in Cuba because they refused to go along with Castro, were ridiculed, and essentially exiled. Still they chose to wait for sponsorship and do everything the right way. They absolutely love America and HATE to see what it has become.
Can’t believe these politicians continue to get voted in. People there get everything they deserve.
