The Welfare State does not work and has not worked here in America. From the LBJ Administration of the 1960’s to the present the Great Society has not been great because poverty will never go away until the Middle Class is revived as it was in the 1950’s when America was a Manufacturing Power House and most everything was Made In America. President Trump is only 1 year younger than I am and he grew up in the same America. Socialism by any name like Progressivism or Communism is still Socialism and it does not work. You can’t use other peoples’ money and give it to someone else and think that it is okay. For centuries it has never worked nor will it ever.
