Funny (NOT). The people I hear who are immigrants, as am I, see the present situation (now) walking the same roads as those mentioned European nations where personal freedoms are taken by a government that is supposed to be WE, THE PEOPLE, not by persons exercising their ability to control.

I am a lifelong republican. Born & raised in Rockford Illinois. I have witnessed for 70 years multiple conspiracy theories, including the John Birch Society, and many other so called “Patriot” ruminations. The McCarthy hearings, the JFK takeover, the LBJ Socialism program, The Medicare program was thought to be horrible on and on. Yet it has been a salvation for all American seniors. While none of these kill the bill movements were effective, the economy & free market moved along just fine. We are still here doing our best, and being the best. If you don’t grasp the history then you don’t grasp anything. America is fine. Trump is a philandering egomaniac, and as a Republican I stand with Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger & the large bloc called Rinos. Proud of it. I’m not into a dictatorial facsiast regime as Trump is promoting. Our founding fathers deserve better from the American people.
