The sad part is that his stupid decisions cost people’s lives. Think about this, General Short/Admiral Kimmel were relieved of command for the Pearl Harbor disaster. General Patton was almost drummed out of the service for slapping a shell-shocked soldier. And yet NO ONE gets in trouble for the Afghanistan disaster. This kind of incompetence would warrant a firing squad in past wars.
