The problem isn’t price gouging. The grocery markets only make about 1% on food prices. The problem is the economy and high spending from the Democrats.
Mary, you are correct. The problem isn’t price gouging. When the cost of fuel goes up (thanks to dopey Joe’s brain-dead anti-energy policies), the price of everything else goes up. Add to that, mandated minimum wage increases. Businesses can’t simply “eat” these costs. They have to raise prices to maintain a profit. Either that, or go out of business.
So, cackling Kammy thinks Soviet-style price control are the answer. That will lead to shortages, businesses going out of business, and a black market.
