It’s all fun and games until the customer says “NO” to your insane prices.
Hey dealers, if you reading!!! I’m glad you guys are struggling. You took buyers out of the market for years marking up over msrp, add ons and ripping customers off with other sales tactics. Hope you have fun….

No one is talking about the inflated wages that have to be paid to make these vehicles. There’s a big part of your problem. If people wanted EVs, there would be organic requests for them. It’s just nonsense
You are 100% correct! I did a term paper on Wage push inflation, my Econ Professor invited me into his office, told me to sit down, threw my term paper at me with an A+ and said you understand this!
The only reason that wages were inflated was because the economy went nuts and the price of butter went up to seven dollars people can’t afford to live on this insane economy that these people hopefully the next Administration will fix it, but those wages will not come down.
Butter went to $7.00 a pound? Really???? I pay $10.00 for 4 pounds of grade A butter ! You are shopping in the wrong stores or you just don’t know how to shop!
Bottom line Pat – prices went up HUGELY. Eggs were 11 cents each now they are well over triple that. About 40 cents each now. Does that make sense to you? Plus to get the butter you buy at that price animals won’t even eat it if its offered to them.
You’re right…. Good organic grass fed cow butter is about 7.80 a lb in Georgia
It depends on where you live. In rural or semi rural America we are slaves to the few available food stores. YES! butter in some areas IS $7 a pound and when it goes on sale we store lots in the freezer. Eggs are $7 a dozen too. I shop at Walmart and Aldis as often as I can drive the 24 miles
It is either buy a car or a house….you can’t afford both!!!! I love it, they are going to be STUCK with them…LOL Paying the people so much to make them, now they will LOSE their job. It bite them in the backside….higher pay meant higher prices and now people can’t afford them so they will be out of work….HAA HAA payback is a BITCH!!!
Quit buying vehicles the price will come down, think most people don’t N E E D a new vehicle they want one,
👍👍👍👍
I have only bought a new car once when I was young, single and could afford the payments on a pretty decent income. Since then I buy only low mileage good used ones and keep them 18-20 years
I am done with Ford due to reliability I have had two Explorers, a Tempo and a Focus.and most recently a Edge After 100k miles they all took a SHIT ! except my old Excursion with a 7.3 L engine but they discontinued that years ago. I now own a Toyota Highlander and a Tundra Both have over 200k miles and going strong Toyota fan for life now
Maybe built here, with Japanese parts and the profits go back overseas. I buy American, but in America we have choices
