It’s what we that have any ability to reason know, even the left. They just want the dummies who hate Trump so much to go along with their deceptive ways and unfortunately they do. I don’t care if you’re left or right, realize that this can happen to you at any level. If prosecutors want to control you whether guilty or innocent, they will, period. Their goal is often just to make themselves look good with no consideration for a human life.
I tend to agree with you. Years ago, I was picking up my stored belongings when a woman I had dated became angry. She started pulling out my belongings, a nice steam iron, pots and pans and began throwing them at me. I had a box of belongings in my hands and I turned to avoid a thrown object, An old .22 revolver fell out of the bottom of the box and she called the police stating I threatened her with a hand gun. I was arrested and taken to county jail. The case was referred to a Grand Jury. I was permitted to address the GJ and produced a letter from her treating physician stating the woman suffered from mental illness and was off her medicine. The arresting office and the DA both knew that fact but pressed to have me taken to trial. The Forelady for the Grand Jury was mad at the DA for not looking at all the facts and, in front of me, the entire jury voted to not send the case forward. The FA was chewed out. Normally, a citizen would never be given that opportunity and would have had to pay for a defense attorney to represent him while the state had deep pocket to ram a case down a person’s throat.
