I’ve seen what the liberal message says about the right to fight “misinformation”. I will bet that the understanding of what that misinformation actually is, will always depend on who is reading, hearing or publishing the information. The American Constitution “The Bill of Rights” leaves the determination of what the truth really is, to the people. The First Amendment plainly says: Amendment I
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.”

The Constitution’s 1st Amendment concerning freedom of speech has the exact definition we think it does. Essentially the right to speak on any subject belongs to the people, the government cannot change the message in any way. The other Americans have the responsibility and the right to refute any “misinformation” with their own speech. That right is not given to the government. It is a recognized (not given) right. It is our “natural” right.
If every subject is a target to be called “misinformation” by our government no speech is “safe” for Americans. I believe that the recent Supreme Court decision on freedom of speech said the same thing.
