It’s NOT just the degree, but the fidelity to it & the dedication to climbing to the top of your skill. Be the best. You can do it here in America. You can be a huge failure at business or any other “essential” degree…or a sweet success at an odd degree–depending upon your skill, dedication, personal goal. I paid for my own degrees, no loans & earned a BFA in studio Art, plus a BA in secondary art education b/c God gave me a gift at birth that I wanted to honor first. Then, b/c everyone warned me I’d never get a job, I earned another un-appreciated History credential at the same time (later wrote/published Civil War Regimental History). This degree got me my first job. Later, I added a multiple subject credential to be versatile. Yet later, an M.Ed in language acquisition, and multiple second language certifications to pad my pay. I live in a state where I was always the top applicant for anything I wanted to do with these because they need them. In early career, I was recruited to save a Gifted and Talented program & made more money than my administrators and with less working days per year. I retired with some modest but good supplemental investments that I maintained over 30 yrs….and I make more now in retirement than I did working. My favorite Plato quote is, “What is honored in a country will be rewarded there.” No matter what your passion, ascertain what is rewarded and where…then go for it…but always honor your God-given talents first or your life & talents will have been forfeited for someone else’s judgement of your birthright.

FCC Chair Brendan Carr had opened an investigation into EchoStar until it’s Charles Ergan kicked in $25 million; the entire thing was dropped once the checks cleared. A Rocket subsidiary coughed up a $10 million check just three weeks after federal regulators allowed its acquisition of Mr. Cooper.
Around the time Salesforce kicked in big-time, the Pentagon handed them a $5.6 billion contract. Isabela Herrera’s banker father was indicted on bribery charges that got knocked down to a misdemeanor shortly before her $2.5 million donation. (Remember, six corrupt Republicans on the Supreme Court ruled that if bribes are paid after a favor or contract is done, it’s no longer an illegal bribe but, instead, a legal “tip.”)
This is looking very, very skeezy. Altogether 67 “donors” kicked in $333 million with another $77 million from donors who didn’t want their names disclosed. Nvidia and Apple each kicked in $25 million. So did the Adelson family. And the money has flowed, according to WP reporting, from the Trust for the National Mall — a nonprofit that doesn’t have to disclose donors — into a White House account that TRUMP PERSONALLY CONTROLS. Trump is a corrupt POS.

When I went my daughter went to college, she went to the local junior college for her AA it’s cheaper. We were able to pay as she went. Then she transferred to a local university to get her BA’s, yes, she got two. Both of the degrees she could get Jobs with. Her student loans were paid off within a year. The federal government shouldn’t be given loans out to people who pursue a degree in something that will not make them any money. then they cry they can’t afford to live. That is their problem. We should bail out anyone’s Student loans. That was their choice. Let them get private loans for what they want. Trump is Right. People need to stop listening to the Liberal, Socialist, Communist, Woke sites. They want us to fail. Who is financing these sites. The liberals are so gullible. and they will destroy us. Pay for your own degree. The GOVERNMENT does not need to subsidize college loans, housing for poor people, aide to dependent children , welfare , Medicaid/Medicare , and surely not for people who REFUSE TO WORK when they are able.
I am retired and yes, I do receive S.S. , but my preferences are that the money I paid into S.S. could have gone into a more profitable 401K .
I resent having S.S. being paid to those who NEVER contributed.
