The locals cried when he was sent back to Germany, there is a monument in his honour in Nanjing to this day.

This brain-fogged commentary is as twisted as anything I’ve ever seen or heard from the left. It reinforces the realization that lots of people who claim to be conservative have the exact same brain disease as Communists, Nazis and Fascists.
Jews are singled out because their genocide came so close to being successful. Genocide isn’t measured by gross numbers of victims but by degree.
Nicaragua’s Sandinistas committed genocide when they extinguished 50,000 Moskito Indians because that was such a big chunk of the ethnic group. Genocide was massive against tribes of Canadian and American Indians. On the other hand, several million Chinese is just a small fracture of that ethnicity.
As for accentuation of deaths and catastrophes, only a dumbsh-t like this wouldn’t realize that every corner of humanity focuses more intently on itself. Put it this way: If a handful of people die in a car, train or boat accident in Podunk, West Carolina, it’ll make front page of the local newspaper but it’ll barely be noticed by newspapers and readers in Jefferson City, East Dakota.
Everyone is more interested in a tornado or flood where they live than where others live. It’s why there’s so little attention paid in U.S. news media, comparatively, to developments in Africa, South America and Asia.
To continue, war atrocities are traditionally divided into civilian vs. military. Military casualties are obviously unavoidable in war, but torture and slaying of civilians — especially youths and women — are far, far more excessive in defining evil combatants. The number of Jewish civilian deaths in WW II cannot be compared with combat deaths in different armies and navies.
